Cueva: Apt with bay view: 2 blocks to beach, 4b to center
An unforgettable stay! La Cueva is a fun and stylish retreat with a well equipped and clean kitchen and bathroom. We loved the large trees integrated in its design. Walls are hung with mixed local artwork. Slept in a comfy bed sleeplistening to the waves and we had a great terrace to watch the sunset from our hammocks with no less than gorgeous views at the bay of SJdS. The owner Jan-Luc and the caretakers Fernando, Rebecca and Dennis made us feel so welcome and were remarkably attentive. The houses are located at a few minutes walking distance from the beach town. They make a supreme relaxing base for exploring the area with great beaches to surf or hike through the hills. The town of SJdS is presently one of those rare places unspoilt by hordes of visitors or summer crowds where you can kick back at a beach bar, laze on the sand, gaze at local fishermen’s boats or just stroll along the waterfront. Entering town you are immediately drawn in by its tranquility. Bonus: plenty of restaurants where you can savour freshly caught fish. All in all, terrific stay, good vibes!! We just wanted to stick around..

"Nos encantó el lugar. Está justo a como se ve en las fotos. Es un complejo de varios apartamentos en zonas altas, adecuadamente separados el uno del otro, el área de asado fue confortable y le pudimos dar uso. La casa tiene una cocina muy bien equipada, pudimos cocinar nuestros alimentos durante toda la estancia. Don Denis, el encargado fue muy amable y atento. Excelente lugar, espero volver pronto junto con más personas".

It is a complex of several apartments in high areas, adequately separated from each other, the barbecue area was comfortable and we were able to use it. The house has a very well equipped kitchen, we were able to cook our food throughout the stay. Don Denis, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Excellent place, I hope to return soon together with more people".

Lobovista: 2 bedr House, bay view, 3 blocks to beach / center (Lobovista), Januari 2021
This is a really unique place with views of the bay and downtown businesses. The hammocks upstairs are a nice touch to get the breeze and relax in between activities. It’s not that far of a walk to downtown (5-7 mins). We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. And all the fruit trees and vegetation are a nice touch that add to the relaxing ambiance.
